              DIED AT COUNTY POOR FARM
              
              Victim of Mysterious Shooting at Aurora
              Dies of His Wounds
              
              MARTIN RUNIKER, aged 30 years, died at the county
            poor farm, Duluth, Tuesday, as a result of wounds
            received in a Fourth of July celebration near Aurora,
            in which he received a full charge of a shotgun in
            the back.
              As to whether the shooting was intentional or was
            the result of carelessness will never be known, as
            the deceased spoke an Austrian dialect which none of
            the interpreters secured by the county physician
            prior to his death could understand. The affair was
            reported to the authorities as an accident.
              ROUNIKER was removed to Duluth some weeks ago and
            later taken to the poor farm, his death being the
            direct result of septic poisoning resulting from
            his wounds.
              A brother of the deceased lives at Chisholm.
