The funeral was held yesterday from the Catholic church and the remains were laid to rest in the Birch Cooley cemetery, a large number of friends and old and old (sic) neighbors attending the last sad rites. The deceased was a resident of Birch Cooley for 42 years, coming there from St. Lawrence county, New York in 1868 and locating on section 24 where he remained until his death. ===========================================================================
