MARY KEEFE, mother of JOS. R. KEEFE of Redwood Falls, died at her home at Morton at noon Sunday. Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church at Morton Tuesday morning, Rev. Father Hart officiating. Interment was made in the family burial lot at Birch Cooley where the husband and several of the children of MRS. KEEFE are buried. MRS. KEEFE had been bedridden for only two weeks, although she had suffered from the ills of old age for several years. She was born in Ireland about eighty-three years ago and had been a resident of this community for many years, settling in Birch Cooley on a homestead with her husband and family about forty-five years ago. Of the fourteen children born to MR. and MRS. KEEFE only five sons survive their mother. They are JOS. R. of Redwood Falls, JOHN L. of Canada, and T. M., W. D., and D. F. of Morton. All five were with their mother at the time of her death. The father of the family died about fifteen years ago. The greatest eulogy to MRS. KEEFE'S worth as a mother and as a woman lies in the devotion of her sons and the tenderness and love they have shown her during her last years of failing and feebleness. ===========================================================================
