                WILLIAM BRANDER was born on Prince Edward's Island, Jan.
              1, 1837. He came to Champlin in February, 1863, where he
              engaged in blacksmithing. In 1866 he was married to ALMIRA
              PARKER. They have one daughter, ELLA F. (Mrs. JAMES LEACH)
