THOMAS THOMPSON, who has been em- ployed at the Brainerd Lumber company's mill for some time on the boom met death as a re- sult of injuries received at the mill Satur- day morning about 10 o'clock. One of the large cables used on the boom broke and THOMPSON was caught in a jam and rendered unconscious. He was taken to the hospital but never recovered, passing to the great beyond Sunday afternoon. Deceased leaves a wife and two small chil- dren. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning. ==========================================================================
