WATKINS, local resident for the past 10 years, who died Wednesday afternoon at the GEORGE SCHERFENBERG residence, will be held at the Johnson Funeral home on Friday at 2 p.m., under Masonic aus- pices, and burial will be made in the North Star cemetery. Mr. WATKINS was the owner of a local trucking firm which hauled granite for St. Cloud sheds and quarries, and was affiliated with the Masonic and Odd Fellow organizations here. He was an invited guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. GEORGE SCHERFENBERG, 422 Third avenue south, on New Years day, and suffered a stroke there while playing cards. He was 66 years of age. The survivors include three brothers, BERT J., Aurora, Ill., FRED B., San Francisco, and DELBERT J., of Waterville, Ia. Three organizations will be represented at the funeral tomorrow afternoon. The Knight Templars will act as an escort. All Masons will gather in the Masonic temple at one o'clock, the I.O.O.F. in the I.O.O.F. hall at 1:30 and the Rebekahs at one o'clock in the I.O.O.F. hall, all to go to the funeral parlors for the service. ==========================================================================
