FINNEMANN, 79, RETIRED FARMER DIES YESTERDAY Has Lived Here Since 1910; Farmed at Luxemberg and Maine Prairie ANTON FINNEMANN, who came from Germany and located on a farm in Luxemberg, Stearns county, in 1889, died Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock after a lingering illness. He was 79 years of age. The remains have been taken to the FINNEMANN residence, 807 Eleventh avenue north, where they will be held until the time of the funeral which takes place at the Cathedral at 10 o'clock Saturday morning with burial following in the family lot of Calvary cemetery. Mr. FINNEMANN was a member of the Holy Name society of the Cathedral. The former Luxumberg resident was born in Shanefeld, Germany, in 1849 and emigrated to America in 1869, locating on a farm near Luxemberg, where in 1876 he was married to JOSEPHINE GULLY. After his marriage Mr. FINNEMANN removed to Maine Prairie where the family lived until 1910, when Mr. FINNEMANN retired and took up his residence in St. Cloud, living since then in the home on Eleventh avenue north. Mrs. FINNEMANN died in June, 1923. Leaves Seven Children Of the 11 children born to Mr. and Mrs. FINNEMANN, seven survive. They are: JOHN B. FINNEMANN, Fairview, Mont.; HERBERT and MIKE A. FINNEMANN, Golva, N.D.; THOMAS FINNEMANN, Vem, N.D.; Mrs. THEODORE BOHLSON and Miss ELIZABETH FINNEMANN, St. Cloud; and Mrs. IRWIN GOOD, Minneapolis. There also are one sister, Mrs. MIKE BAUER, Henmore, N.D., and 27 grandchildren. All the children as his sister were with Mr. FINNEMANN at death. ==========================================================================
