Detroit, Minn., May 21 - STEVE KING, deputy sheriff at Becker county, was drowned in Detroit lake last evening about 8 o'clock. He left his home shortly after 6 o'clock with another man and was fishing near the sandbar. His companion was found clinging to the overturned boat and when rescued was nearly exhausted. Just how the accident occurred is not known. KING was about forty years old and had resided here many years. ===========================================================================
