The Fraze fire department received help from fire departments at Perham and Detroit Lakes. The adjoining Frazee Hotel caught fire but firemen doused the blaze before any damage was caused. Seventeen adults and six children were routed out of bed in the hotel. They dressed but did not have to leave the building. The fire started about 4 a.m. Frazee Fire Chief JAMES ANDERSON said "it was a close one" regarding the hotel. The temperature was about 10 below. The bakery was owned and operated by DONALD COLLINS. ==========================================================================
