Memorial services will be Friday at Thurston's funeral home in Anoka. Mr. CASWELL, a semi-invalid for many years, was born in Anoka and graduated from the University of Minnesota law school. From 1892 to 1902 he owned and edited the Anoka Herald. In 1912 he was a member of the Republican National committee and managed the state campaign for THEODORE ROOSEVELT. He also served several terms as clerk of the Minnesota supreme court prior to 1920. He and Mrs. CASWELL, who died in 1954, retired to Florida in the late 1940's. Surviving is a son, Col. DWIGHT W.
