                JOHN CURRY (deceased) was born in Belfast, Ireland, Oct.
              1816; of Scotch Irish extraction. Married MARY HUNTER in
              May, 1845. Children: MARY J., JOHN W., NANCY A., and
              ESTHER. Came to N. Y. fall of 1845, living at Dansville,
              N. Y., where all the children were born. Moved to Minne-
              sota in 1856, settling on a farm in section 24, town of
              Grow. He died July 23, 1883. He was a Mason of high
              standing in the old country.
