Goodrich pub. 1905 - Hennepin Publishing Co., Minneapolis page 199 JOHN F. CLEMENTS was born at Monroe, Maine, Apr. 10, 1826. Worked at farming and lumbering until his removal to Minnesota in the spring of 1855, landing in St. Paul May 1st of that yaer. Worked in St. Anthony one year and in the spring of 1856 took up a claim in section 18, town of Oak Grove, where he has since resided. He was married May 3, 1849, to MARGARET DAVIS, who died Jan. 28, 1903. Children: SILAS W. (Hibbard, Fremont Co., Idaho), EUGENE P. (Hibbard, Idaho), MARGARET W. (Mrs. Frank Moulton, Anoka), FLORA J.
