                IRVING A. CASWELL was born in the town of Anoka, Feb. 25,
              1870. He received his education at the Anoka high school
              and the University of Minnesota. In 1892 he purchased the
              Anoka Herald and was its owner for some ten years, and dur-
              ing the greater part of the time its editor. He was post-
              master at Anoka from 1901 to 1905. Mr. CASWELL was married
              June 3, 1899, to MARY D. WOODBURY. They have one son, 
              DWIGHT WOODBURY CASWELL.
