Goodrich pub. 1905 - Hennepin Publishing Co., Minneapolis page 194 ALBERT J. CASWELL was born in Brompton, Canada, Jan. 15, 1835. At the age of 16 his father removed to Vermont, where he remained until 1856, when he came west and located at Mannannah, Meeker Co. In 1859 he went overland to California, where he remained three years. He then returned to Mannannah, and after one year removed to Coon creek, town of Anoka, where he resided up to the time of his death, Feb. 29, 1892. In 1864 he was married to MARTHA HAYDEN. Children: ARTHUR A., IRVING A., and HERBERT. (Transcribers Note: The death date is wrong. On Feb. 11, 1892, the Anoka Union published a tribute to the memory of A. J.
