                WILLIAM J. ANNON was born in Ireland Jan. 7, 1867. He came
              to America at the age of thirteen. He received his education
              partly in Ireland and partly in New York city. He came west
              in 1893 and to Anoka in August of that year, as business
              manager of the Anoka Water Works, Electric Light and Power
              Co., which position he still holds. Mr. ANNON was married
              Jan. 2, 1890, to JENNIE SHORTT. Children: WALTER T. and
              CHARLOTTE ISABEL.
