Wheeler, pub. B. F. Bowen - 1903 Page 300 ROBERT MYHILL was a son-in-law of Dr. Perry, and came to the county soon after the arrival of Mr. Hall and Mr. Perry. He settled on section 24 in Wexford township, where he remained until his accidental death in the spring of 1868. He had donated a site for a school house in the northeast corner of his farm and the neighbors had set a day for cutting away the timber, preparatory to erecting a school-house. At this "bee" Mr. Myhill was struck by the limb of a falling tree, crushing his skull, causing death, though he lived for over twelve hours after the injury. =========================================================================== ===========================================================================
