WAGAR Arrived Yesterday. At the Union depot yesterday afternoon WILLIAM A. WAGAR and GORDON J. WAGAR, surrounded by a dozen or more sympa- thetic friends, waited over two hours for the body of their father, AUSTIN I. WAGAR, the baggageman who died from in- juries received in Saturday night's wreck. It was 6 o'clock before the train with its dreary burden pulled in. This is the first of Detroit's dead received. The body was accompanied by another son, CHARLES W. WAGAR, who is assistant receiving teller at the Old Detroit National bank. MR. WAGAR has been baggageman on the Pere Marquette railroad over twenty years and, at the time of his death, was 50 years of age. He leaves a widow and four boys, the youngest of whom is LEROY, aged 13, and one daughter, LYDIA WAGAR, aged 21. Just about a year ago MR. WAGAR was in a rear-end collision on the Pere Marquette at South Lyons, Mich., but escaped uninjured. The body was taken to an undertaking establish- ment and will be removed today to the home at 192 Sixteenth street. ===============================================================================
