He was taken to the Union Hotel, at Fort Gratiot, where Dr. Carvalle, of the Fort, and Dr. Shoebotham, of this city, attended him. It was found that he had received severe internal injuries, and death ensued at sundown Friday evening. Nothing was due MR. O'DONNELL from his employers, as he had just drawn his pay in full, but CAPT. PRIDGEON generously paid all the expenses connected with his death and funeral. He lived at 85 Oak St., Detroit, whither his remains were taken Saturday morning, his wife having arrived at Fort Gratiot a short time after his death. Deceased was about 30 years of age.
