SAUNDERS, 58, died Sunday in the city hospital here from injuries received Satur- day when a wall of salt at the Diamond Crystal Salt company, where he was employed caved in on him, pinning him against several barrels and crushing his skull and chest. The accident occurred directly after noon and he was rushed to the hospital and given medical attention. Other workmen, who were engaged in filling barrels from the wall of salt which fell on SAUNDERS escaped without injuries. MR. SAUNDERS is survived by his widow, two daughters and three sons; MRS. FRED LAYLE and MRS. MARK BARNES, and LEE, WILLIS and CLAIR, all of this city. Funeral services will be held from the family residence, Royal street at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will take place in Hillside cemetery. Rev. E. F. Dunlavy will officiate. ===============================================================================
