GEORGE O. REECE died at his home on Clinton avenue, Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. CAPT. REECE had been ill for some time. Last summer he was taken from his boat to the Marine hospital in Cleveland and it was thought at that time he could not live for only a few days, but he rallied and was later removed to his home in this city. MR. REECE was born October 9, 1871, in Fenwick, Canada, and was married to Miss LYDIA A. CHAMBERS 20 years ago. He moved to St. Clair shortly after. He is survived by his widow, mother and one brother, CHARLES. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon. Short services will be held at the residence at 2 p.m. and other services at St. Paul's Episco- pal church at 2:30 p.m. CAPT. REECE will be buried with Masonic honors, Evergreen Lodge No. 9, F. & A. M., officiating. Port Huron Commandery, No. 7, of which the late captain was a member, and the Shipmasters' association will act as escort. The Masons and Shipmasters will meet at the church.
