POCKETT, 87, died Saturday at his home, 755 Water street, Port Huron. For many years he operated a used furniture store here. The remains are in the Bower-Rose funeral home where funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Everett A. Smith, pastor of First Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. He was born May 23, 1860, in Memphis. He is survived by four daughters, MRS. FLORENCE TASSIE and MRS. JOHN MOSIER, both of Marine City; MRS. MELVILLE PYSON, St. Clair; MRS. MARY BRABAW, Port Huron; two sons, EDWARD POCKETT, Toledo, O, and RALPH POCKETT, Port Huron, and several grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
