CHRISTINE POCKETT, 69, widow of EDWARD POCKETT, died Thursday night in a Dearborn hospital. MRS. POCKETT had been ill since March when she fractured her hip in a fall. Surviving are one son, LOUS JACKSON, Detroit; one stepson, JOSEPH JACKSON, Washington, D.C., three stepdaughters, MRS. SCHUYLER JUSTICE, Salinas, Calif., and MRS. HERBERT HUNTOON and MRS. HERBERT THOMPSON, Marine City; one sister, and two grandchildren. The remains are in the Frederichs funeral home. MRS. POCKETT was born in Detroit, daughter of MR. and MRS. JOSEPH GALE. Her first husband, JOSEPH JACKSON, died 43 years ago. MR. CHRISTINE POCKETT, 69, widow of EDWARD POCKETT, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Friederichs funeral home. Rev. J. P. Pumphrey, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate.
