CHARLES BEAUVAIS, 94, patriarch of Ira township and son of pioneer residents of this vicinity, who died Friday in his home will be held at 9 a.m. Tues- day in St. Mary's Roman Catholic church, here, with his grandson, Rev. Fr. JUSTIN A. BEAUVAIS, taking part. Burial will be in Sacred Heart cemetery. Until a year ago CAPTAIN BEAUVAIS had been active in working his farm, to which he retired 40 years ago after several decades of sailing on the Great Lakes. He was born April 18, 1841, on a farm one-fourth of a mile from his present farm. Before his retire- ment to farm life, he owned and captained several schooners. He was the oldest member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic church parish. His father was MEDORE BEAUVAIS, and mother MATILDA FAUCHER BEAUVAIS. His wife, ELEANOR ROSE BEAUVAIS died Christmas day 15 years ago. ===============================================================================
