One day last week she concluded that she needed a change of clothing and having only one suit she resolved that it was wash- day. Entering the water in the slip opposite the Public Square, she divested herself of her clothing, garment by garment, washed them and hung them up to dry. When "all the washing was out" the woman took a comfortable seat on a log in the edge of the water and commenced whistling, "Down by the Sea Shore, I'm Thinking of Thee, Love." ===========================================================================
