Saturday, 18 June, 1870

         On Saturday HOWARD BRISTOL of Marine City, eloped
       from Cottrellville with the daughter of WM. COTTRELL,
       only 13 years old, went to Detroit and were married.
       MR. COTTRELL pursued the runaway couple and had
       BRISTOL arrested and lodged in jail. BRISTOL was
       granted a divorce from a former wife at the last
       term of the Circuit Court.
