T. Andreas & Co., Chicago - 1883 [580] OTIS JOSLYN, of the firm of Brooks, Joslyn & Co., manu- facturers and dealers in lumber, is a native of New Hampshire, and was born in Sharon August 5. 1835. He grew up and attended school there. He then went to Boston and was engaged in busi- ness there eight years. He came to Port Huron in 1869, and engaged in the manufacture of fish barrels and packages, and afterward established their present business, manufacturing and dealing in lumber. They cut from four to five million feet annually and have a good established trade. MR. JOSLYN has held the office of Supervisor and served as member of the City Council. In 1864. he married Miss SARAH J. LIBBY, a native of Maine. They have four children - ADA B., OTIS W., CLARENCE and LEES. ===============================================================================
