MARTIN SKAROUPA, a Saginaw Polander, died from the effects of an overdose of croton oil, given through the ignorance of JOHN KLAPINSKI with whom he boarded. The latter was told by a busybody that croton oil would cure the patient and accordingly he gave the poor fellow two drams of the deadly drug when two drops con- stitute the maximum dose. SKAROUPA died some hours later in terrible agony. ===========================================================================
