J. MALDEN, who died in 1860, at the age of 80, was found to be petrified. Her husband was at one time keeper of the lighthouse at Thunder Bay, and is now living at Alpena. It is said that she died very suddenly one day after eating a hearty dinner. She was quite a large woman, weighing, perhaps, 200 pounds. Her form and features are still perfect as on the day she died. She has several children still living. ===============================================================================
