Wednesday, 6 June, 1860

         We are informed that MR. JOHN TRICK, of the township
       of Crockery, in this county, committed suicide on Tues-
       day last, at his residence, by attaching a cord to a
       rafter in the chamber and suspending himself therefrom.
       MR. T. has been laboring under a species of insanity in-
       duced, probably, by great depression of spirits, arising,
       as is generally supposed, from domestic troubles. He was
       in comfortable circumstances, as respects property, and
       was esteemed as a kind neighbor.
