It is supposed he caught the hammer of the gun on a log he was crossing. The entire charge of shot was received in the breast in the region of the heart. MR. MILLER was one of the early settlers of Chester Township, Ottawa County. He was 56 years old and leaves a widow and five children, one son and four daughters. ==========================================================================
