McSWEEN, of this city. He was 24 years of age, unmarried, and a son of the late THOMAS R. McSWEEN, for twenty-five years agent for the Grand Rapids & Indiana railway at this place. JOHN was for some time warehouseman for the G.R. & I. here, but for several months has been shipping clerk for the Grand Ledge chair factory, working under his uncle, A. J. KINGSLEY. Before his removal from here he was local agent for The Free Press, and had built up quite a large business, being regarded as a very bright young man and a great hustler. His mother, one brother and one sister survive him. He was a Mason, a member of the local lodge. His body will be brought here tonight for burial. ===============================================================================
