Friday, April 25, 1873 Volume III, Number 119. DIED. Shelby, Mich., April 21. We are called to mourn the death of SARAH WILLIAMS, a dear old mother in Israel. Her death was occasioned by a stroke of palsy. She retained her consciousness to the last, was resigned and fell asleep sweetly in Jesus, on the eve of the 18th inst. She had been a member of the M. E. Church for many years, and came among us recommended by the Pastor of Baconsburg charge, Erie Conference, Ohio. Her funeral was attended by hundreds of people, many being unable to enter the school house because of the crowd. Her body lies in the Shelby ceme- tery. A few more days and she would have witnessed her seventy-fourth birthday. ==========================================================================
