      in the 72nd year of her age.

        DIED.
        CHURCHILL - In Shelby, Mich., March 7, 1873, WALTER L. CHURCHILL,
      aged 7 months and 12 days.
        On the 7th inst., the friends of W. H. CHURCHILL were again called
      by the death of his infant son, to extend heartfelt sympathy in words
      of condolment and kindly assistance. Scarce two months ago the mother
      was removed followed immediately by the fading of the "tender branch"
      left without its natural support. This is the sixth time within a few
      years that God's hand of affliction has fallen heavily upon our es-
      teemed friend. One son is only left to comfort the father in his
      lonliness.
        The funeral on Sabbath was attended by a large concourse of sympa-
      thizing friends.      R. N. Kratz.

        LEE - In Pentwater, Mich., March 11th, 1873, infant son of Rev.
      G. D. and MARY LEE, aged two months.

        NEILSEN - In Pentwater, March 4, ANDERS NEILSEN, aged 21 years.

        POWERS - At Benona, Oceana county, Mich., Feb. 26, 1873, after a
      short illness, HARRIETT POWERS, wife of GERSHOM POWERS, aged 29
      years.

        DOWNEY - At Blackberry Ridge, Mich., March 12, 1873, MRS. EMMA
      DOWNEY, aged 17 years and 9 months.

        SESSIONS - At Blackberry Ridge, Mich., March 9, 1873, CHARLES J.
      SESSIONS, only child of CHARLES A. and NELLIE J. SESSIONS, aged 3
      years and 3 months.
