PENTWATER, OCEANA Co., MICH.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 3, 1873
VOLUME II, NUMBER 103.

        DIED.
        LOOMIS - In Pentwater, Dec. 21st, 1872, ERNEST B., youngest son of
      MR. and MRS. E. W. LOOMIS, aged 5 years and 5 months.
      
        EMERSON - In Blackberry Ridge, Mich., Dec. 27, 1872, at the house
      of J. A. VAN TASSELL, THOMAS B. EMERSON, aged about 38 years.
        The deceased was born in Athabaska, C. E., and came here about five
      years ago. Although no relatives were present, his funeral was quite
      largely attended, as he had made some very warm friends, and will be
      missed in the community. He died refusing to tell where his relatives
      could be found, and any information in regard to them will be gladly
      received at this office.
