P. McDONALD, formerly of Morton district, Riverton township, passed away Thursday night, Sept. 25, at Fremont hospital. JOHN was born in November, 1915, in Morton school district. His mother passed away when he was but two years of age and since he had made his home with an aunt, MRS. GRACE WALKER of Volney, Oceana county. He leaves his father, one sister, MRS. IRENE HARVEY of Milwaukee; four brothers, LOREN and HAROLD of Walker- ville, HUGH of St. Louis, Mo., and LeROY of Muskegon, and many other relatives and friends. JOHN was graduated from the eighth grade of Volney school. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Volney church.
