           On Monday Morning JOHN JOHANSSEN, a workman in the
         Pere Marquette Lumber Company's mill, at Ludington,
         was struck in the side and back by a heavy plank, which
         was thrown with tremendous force from the saws of the
         gang edger, and instantly killed.
