XIV. OLD SERIES, NO. 1 VOL. I NEW SERIES, NO. 16 JOSEPH BOORS, a young man aged 17, who resided in Weare, Oceana county, met with a fatal accident last week Thursday. He was hunting and had shot a coon and immediately reloading his gun he ran to where the coon was lying on the ground, striking it with the butt of his gun. The concussion dis- charged it, two buckshot entering his abdomen, passing through his body and lodged in his back.
