JAMES RODDY tried to accomplish this on Monday last, and FRANK DUVAL on Tuesday, but their efforts do not seem to be appre- ciated, since complaints have been entered against them before Esq. HARTWICK, for disorderly conduct and breaches of the peace. In the trial of the first case, on Wednesday, it appeared that no record exists of any passage of any ordinance by our village council with reference to this matter, and the action consequently falls to the ground. For the present, complaints will have to be made under the State law, until the Common Council make good the deficiency in their records. ==========================================================================
