A bill was filed yesterday, 29th, in the United States Court in this city in behalf of HENRY RECTOR for the pur- pose of setting aside a quit-claim deed of an undivided one-sixty interest in the lands on which the village of Pentwater now stands. Said deed was given by RECTOR in April last to BENJ. LUCE, and RECTOR alleges in his bill that it was obtained through fraud. This is another ele- ment of complication in the troubles now afflicting the Pentwater land owners. As is known to our readers, parties in this city have brought suit against the residents of Pentwater, claiming the title to the whole or nearly all the village. The amount at stake is, according to RECTOR'S bill, over one million dollars, as he claims that the one- sixty interest conveyed by his quit-claim deed is worth $200,000. RECTOR prays an injunction restraining the suits heretofore commenced. ===============================================================================
