FRIDAY, DECEMBER 22, 1871 VOLUME I, NUMBER 49 PROBATE ORDER. State of Michigan,} County of Oceana.} ss. At a session of the Probate Court for the county of Oceana, holden at the Probate office in the village of Hart on Saturday, the 16th day of December, in the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one. Present, AMOS CROSBY, Judge of Probate. In the matter of the Estate of THOMAS JERVIS, late of Pentwater, in said county, deceased, on reading and filing the petition, duly verified, of EDWARD E. EDWARDS and WILLIAM E. AMBLER, the former an attorney for GEORGE YOUNG, who is a creditor of said estate, praying that said EDWARD E. EDWARDS may be appointed administrator of the estate of said deceased. Thereupon it is ordered that Monday, the 5th day of February next at one o'clock in the afternoon, be assigned for the hearing of said petition, and that the heirs at law of said deceased, and all other persons interested in said estate, are required to appear at a session of said Court, then to be holden at the Probate office in the village of Hart, in said county, and show cause, if any there be, why the prayer of the petitioner should not be granted; and it is further ordered that said petitioner give notice to the persons interested in said estate of the pendency of said petition and the hearing thereof, by causing a copy of this order to be published in the "East Shore News," a newspaper printed and circulated in said county of Oceana, for three successive weeks previous to said day of hearing.
