FRIDAY, DECEMBER 29, 1871 VOLUME I, NUMBER 50. PROBATE ORDER. - State of Michigan, County of Oceana, ss. At a session of the Probate Court, for the county of Oceana, holden at the Probate Office, in the village of Hart, on Monday the 5th day of December in the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one. Pre- sent AMOS CROSBY, Judge of Probate. In the matter of the estate of RODNEY ATWOOD, formerly of Pentwater, in said county, deceased, on reading and filing the petition, duly verified, of JAMES G. B. ATWOOD, praying that an instrument now on file in this court, and purporting to be the last will and testament of said deceased, may be admitted to probate, and that EBENEZER B. CLARK, JOHN REED and EDMUND N. DUNDASS may be appointed Executors thereof as in said will named. Thereupon it is ordered that Monday, the 8th day of January next, at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, be assigned for the hearing of said petition, and that the heirs at law of said deceased, and all other persons interested in said estate, are required to appear at a session of said court, then to be holden at the Probate office in the village of Hart, and show cause, if any there be, why the prayer of the petitioner should not be granted; and it is further ordered that said petitioner give notice to the persons interested in said estate of the pendency of said petition and the hearing thereof by causing a copy of this order to be published in the "East Shore News," a newspaper printed and circulated in said county of Oceana, for three consecutive weeks previous to said day of hearing.
