FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 1871 pg 2, col. 7 MORTGAGE SALE Default having been made in the conditions of a certain mortgage, executed by JOHN HOOGSTRAAT and HATTIE HOOGSTRAAT, of Muskegon, State of Michigan, to MILTON B. MOREY, of Pentwater Michigan, dated the 3d day of June, A.D. 1870, and recorded on the 1st day of June, A.D. 1870, in the office of the Register of Deeds, for the county of Oceana, State of Michigan, in Liber "C" of Mortgages, on page 23* and upon which said Mortgage there is claimed to be due at the date of this notice the sum of Two Hundered and Eleven Dollars and Sixty-two cents ($211.62), and no suit or proceeding at law have been instituted to recover the same, or any part thereof; notice is therefore hereby given That on Monday, the 17th day of April, A.D. 1871, at two o'clock in the afternoon of said day, I shall sell at public auction to the highest bidder - sale to take place at the front door of the Court House, in the village of Hart, in Oceana county, State of Michigan, - the premises described in said Mortgage, to-wit: The following piece or parcel of land situated in the township of Pentwater, Oceana county, State of Michigan, viz: The centre one-third (1/3) of Lot No. six (6) in Block No. three (3) in Cobb's addition to the village of Pentwater, Oceana county, Michi- gan, according to the plat thereof on record at the Register's office of Oceana county, or so much thereof as shall be necessary to satisfy the amount due on said Mortgage, with interest thereon at 10 per cent, and all legal costs, together with an attorney's fee of Thirty Dollars ($30.00) covenanted for in said Mortgage.
