FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 1871 pg 2, col. 7 MORTGAGE SALE Default having been made in the conditions of a certain mortgage, executed by MARY GROVE, of Oceana county, Michigan, to NORMAN F. HARRIS, of the same place, dated the 9th day of April, A.D. 1870, and recorded the 3d day of May, A.D. 1870, in the office of the Register of Deeds, in and for the county of Oceana, State of Michigan, in Liber "C" of mortgages, on page 263 which said mortgage was duly assigned by said NORMAN F. HARRIS, to HENRY STEWARD, on the 23d day of Nov- vember, A.D. 18**, and which assignment was re- corded in the office of the Register of Deeds, Oceana County, State of Michigan, on the 7th day of January, A.D. 18** in Liber "D" of mort- gages, on page 482; upon which said mortgage there is claimed to be due at the date of this notice the sum of three hundred and *** dollars and eighty-three cents, and no suit or proceed- ings at law have been instituted to recover the same or any part thereof; notice is therefore hereby given, That on Saturday, the 22nd day of April, A.D. 1871 at two o'clock in the afternoon of said day I shall sell at public auction, to the highest bidder - sale to take place at the front door of the Court House, in the village of Hart, Oceana county, State of Michigan, - the premises de- scribed in said mortgage viz: All of the following described lands situated in Oceana county, Michigan, to-wit: Lot No. one (1) of Block No. one (1) of Cobb's Addition to the village of Pentwater, as platted and recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Oceana county, Michigan, or so much thereof as shall be necessary to satisfy the amount on said mortgage, with interest (off page) all legal costs together with an Attorney's fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) covenanted for in said mortgage.
