FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 1871 pg 2, col. 7 MORTGAGE SALE Default having been made in the conditions of a certain mortgage, executed by PAUL CLUTCHEY and LUCY CLUTCHEY, of Mason county, State of Michigan, to SEWALL MOULTON and HENRY C. FLAGG, of Oceana county, State of Michigan, dated the fourth day of February, A.D. 1870, and recorded on the 14th day of May, A.D. 1870, in the office of the Regis- ter of Deeds, for the county of Oceana, State of Michigan, in Liber C of Mortgages, on Page 265, and upon which said Mortgage there is claimed to be due to the date of notice, the sum of Eighty- one dollars and eighty-two cents ($81.82) and no suit or proceeding at law having been instituted to recover the same, or any part thereof; notice is therefore hereby given: That on Monday, the 17th day of April, A.D. 1871, at two o'clock in the afternoon of said day, we shall sell at public auction to the highest bidder, - sale to take place at the front door of the court house, in the village of Hart, in Oceana county, State of Michigan, the premises described in said mortgage, to-wit: Lot No. 1 (1) being fourteen acres off the north half (N. 1/2) of the north east quarter (N. E. 1/4) of Section four, (4) in town sixteen (16) north of range seventeen (17) west, county of Oceana, and State of Michigan, or so much thereof as shall be necessary to satisfy the amount due on said mortgage, with interest thereon at ten percent, and all legal costs together with an attorney's fee of Thirty dollars ($30.00) covenanted for in said mortgage.
