           DR. S. R. WILLIAMS was born in Dayton, Ohio, March, 3,
	 1810; moved to Wayne County, Ind., in 1815, and thence, 
	 in 1843, to Elkhart County, Ind. Commenced the practice 
	 of medicine in 1844, which he continued till 1878, when 
	 he settled on a farm on Section 17, Hart, where he now 
	 lives. He made Hart village his home in 1867. Married, 
	 December 25, 1835, to MARY MARINE, who was born in 
	 Wayne County, Ind., June 28, 1820.
