Myers, farmer, was born in Grand Haven, Mich., January 21, 1848. He came with his parents to Clay Banks, in the Fall of 1861. He has in his farm home, on Section 1, seventy acres of land, about twenty-five of which are already under cultivation. On October 2, 1874, he was married to Miss Lena S. Hanson, of Clay Banks, who was the first white female child born between Grand Haven and Manistee. They have three children-- Earnest B., Vida K., and Edwin D. Mr. Myers has been school superintendent five years, and has just received the entire vote of his township for re-election as justice of the peace. He is also a member of the county board of school examiners and takes a lively interest in the social and educational improvement of all classes of our citizens. ==========================================================================
