           T. J. MAIN was born in Tompkins County, N.Y., May 24, 1829.
	 Settled in Hart in 1866, and worked as carpenter and joiner.
	 Established a livery in 1873, which he still carrres on. Married
	 December 11, 1856, SOFFALIA J. NIVER who was born in Tompkins County,
	 N.Y., August 6, 1833. Two children.
