R. Page & Co., Chicago - 1882 [p. 122] T. S. GURNEY was born in Geauga County, Ohio, December 12, 1836; received an academic course at Willoughby University, Ohio. Subsequently, in 1861, he graduated in the Ohio State and Union Law College, at Cleveland, after which he was principal of the Chardon Union School, Geauga County, which position he retained till 1865. In 1866 he made Hart, Oceana Co., Mich., his home, and commenced the pratice of law, which, with the abstract business and loaning money, he still follows. He has been county clerk, register of deeds, township clerk, etc. Married, March 27, 1862, to HELEN A BRADLEY, who was born in Lake County, Ohio, June, 1841; has two children - ANNA H. and JOHN A. ===============================================================================
