FLEMING, William

William Fleming, blacksmith, was born in Lancaster, Glengary Co., Ont.,
December 7, 1840, and married Mary Urquhart, of Ontario, Canada, February
18, 1864.  He came to this state in March, 1866, and located in Hesperia,
in November, 1876, establishing a general blacksmithing and wagon-making
business.  He has three children -- Lizzie A., James E., and William A.
