         Burned to Death - The Pontiac Jacksonian states that
       miss LYDIA ANN, daughter of ALONZO VAN WAGONER, Esq.,
       of Oxford, in this county, was burned to death at the
       residence of her grandfather, JOSEPH VAN SYCKLE, in
       the township of Independence, from her clothes taking
       fire; she was lying near the fire asleep. She lived
       but a few hours after the accident.
